Paul Casey's Homegrown Live takes over Ebrington Square on Friday 23rd August with a tremendous lineup of live acts on the bill.
Headlining this event will be internationally acclaimed Rock act 'The Four Of Us' who have just completed a tour with Led Zeppelin legend Robert Plant. Due to their relentless touring schedule this will be their only headline show in Northern Ireland this year.
Homegrown was founded as a gig to celebrate the local music scene and the concert is well represented with some of the city's finest including The Paul Casey Band, Paddy Nash & The Happy Enchiladas and Ports, who will all be performing live with their full bands.
Seaking about the Bank Holiday concert Paul Casey said: “I've always wanted to expand with Homegrown, this event gave me the idea to invite Northern Ireland's own, 'The Four Of Us' to the lineup which will hopefully lead to the Homegrown concept growing outside of the city too.”
In order to keep queues for a beer minimal local event organisers Inertia Events have implemented an RFID cashless system. A spokesperson for the company said “We trialled an RFID cashless wristband at our events last year and it went brilliantly. There was basically no queues at the bar. Upon entry you get given a wristband that has a unique chip and when you arrive you queue and activate it. Keep an eye out on the Homegrown Live Facebook Page for more info, including how to avail of some freebies.”
Tickets for the event are free so they are expected to be snapped up immediately, so it’s advised to follow the Homegrown page where you can set up an online reminder and get placed on their waiting list.
Free tickets for the Homegrown Live event are available on Saturday 3rd August online at Skiddle.com or in-store at Cool Discs Foyle Street and Lisnagelvin Shopping Centre. There will be a small booking and administration fee of £2.50 in-store and £3.50 online.
