GIG REVIEW // The Wood Burning Savages

Stendhal Festival of Art 2016

By Oisin Feeney

The Derry – Donegal based quartet took to the main stage on a rainy Friday at Stendhal festival and belted out their mix of melody-heavy rock tunes to an enthusiastic following.

The band themselves all possess great stage presence and it was clear that they were enjoying their Stendhal experience, even through the rain, as they interacted with the crowd who popped along to catch their set.

Showcasing many of their original songs such as Lather, Rinse, and Repeat, they got the crowd going with the audience members singing the lyrics back to the band.

With their fast paced style and lively sound, they really had the crowd moving. This is definitely a band that is worth seeing if you can catch them.
