Local fashion brand ‘Thanksjosh Cothing’ will be opening their new store next week, just in time to grab those last minute Christmas presents.
Situated on Carlise Road - above Muckers & Co Barbers - the new label will open their doors on Monday 19th December and to celebrate the grand opening, the guys will be donating £5 to help the homeless with every £30 spent in store.
The brainchild of Derry FC footballer Jordan Allen and Irish international James McClean, Thanksjosh Clothing has gathered quite a following since its inception in May of this year, with Hull City's Andrew Robertson and Robert Snodgrass the latest professional footballers to be seen sporting the range.
Jordan explained how the label name came about: “It was kind of a need to be there kind of thing... it was something that was said in a funny situation” he laughs.
“My other friends were completing college and university courses and I was kind of bored at the time, so decided that a fashion line would be a great idea.
“The reaction has been great, but the brand sells itself though from the logo to the quality of the product, it really travels well on its own without needing too much pushing. I'm Just glad so many like it” said Jordan.
